    Hi, I am using IE 11 on windows 7 and when trying to access www.canadianpicker.com I get
    'This page can’t be displayed' it is the same with www.cornwallhols.com. I can access both sites using Firefox.
    Is there a known problem with IE 11?

    Interestingly I can access your first URL - some interesting items there :), but no luck with the second URL on IE11. Spell Cornwall correctly (double 'l') and IE11 connects fine.

    Hi Petec,
    I know it works on other machines, I am wondering if I have to do some sort of reset.

    Try starting IE in No Add-ons mode ....

    Orb > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > IE no add-ons

    If that works then an add-on is causing the problem. Start IE normally and disable all add-ons .....

    Tools > Manage Add-ons

    and disable all. Re-enable one by one until the culprit is found.

    If that fails to resolve the issue try a reset .....

    Tools > Internet options > Advanced tab > Reset and read the advisory re. what may be removed.

    As I posted I can access both url's in IE11 given that I correct the spelling of Cornwall.

    First of all, clean up your HTML code.
    The site canadianpicker.com begins with this:
    <font color=></font>

    Second, use modern HTML. You are using HTML version 3 doctype, which is depreciated, and are using version 4 CSS tags. And the doctype you are using is incorrectly written.

    Recommended Doctype Declarations to use in your Web document

    The <center> tag is depreciated, use
    <style = "text-align:center; ">

    and remove the empty tags.

    To view those sites in IE 11 you may have to use Compatibility View.

    Fix site display problems with Compatibility View

    The www.cornwallhols.com site has this message 'There is a problem with this website’s security certificate'.

    You will only get that message when using HTTPS:// or if have an add-on that filters URLs. Some antivirus programs use a browser add-on to filter URLs and may erroneously flag security certs when a site has a shared cert. Unless you have purchased your own cert your domain will have HTTPS enabled under the server's shared security cert.

    This is what's frustrating, I can look at these websites on all computers except the one I use. I have a link to canadianpicker.com on my favorites bar and when I can get cornwallhols up I will create a link to it. I can't google cornwallhols yet.
    Thanks for the help so far,
    Lewis

    I see what is happening, when I have typed in the address the computer has added an s to http that I was not aware of and that was why I could get onto the sites.
    Thanks again for all your help,
    Lewis
