    Johanna, Jim, Martin,

I have been away a few days visiting my parents "“ hence the lack of immediate response.

As I posted I felt, rightly or wrongly, that the thread was entering a rather grey area involving Product Keys and thought it prudent to stop it there. In no way was I implying that any of you would subscribe to illegal methods of circumnavigating this area.

The original poster was suggesting the use of a perfectly legal Product Key belonging to him/her in conjunction with a copy of an OS which was not, strictly speaking, leased to him/her "“ that was the grey area in my mind. Call me "˜fuddy duddy’ if you like, but we have the reputation of the Board to think of, so better safe than sorry.

Jim and Martin "“ with your multiple copies of XP and corresponding Product Keys "“ I can’t see a problem there in picking and mixing.

Thanks Pete, your aquiesence puts the case to rest as far as I am concerned. And that is a relief.

    You have a good day.
