Why do I need a computer??

Just a quick question to see if I am sane, y'all. I sometimes have my doubts!

If I had not been an avid computer user for the past several years, I would have no boat anchors now.

LOL... actually, my wife and I have been asking ourselves the same thing for the past month. We each have computers that are four years old and running reasonably well on WinXP. So in a sense, we don't "need" new computers BUT we "want" new computers. I find that my computer is a little on the slow side when I working with digital images in PS. I need more mmmfff!!! Not enough RAM and the CPU is bit on the slow side. And besides... I want a larger monitor than my current 17 inch. So by the time I buy a new monitor and more memory... might as well spring for a new computer.

answer 1. You don't! I suggest getting a hobby, preferably one that involves electronic components, video, audio, and a keyboard.

answer 2. It sure beats tinkering with engines and transmissions.

My wife says I don't need one. It takes me away from yard work and honey-do's.
