Thank you for detailed list. Unfortunately, there are no stores in my home town that sell this type of item and I must rely on mail order, my main reason for obtaining the correct content. We used to have several outlets selling computers and electronic accessories, now only PCWorld and Maplins, who both retail their own stocked brands. Seeking advice in computers is near non-existing, that is why I depend help from people like yourselves at Windowsbbs. Thanks, Bobby.

Bring it to my house today. We can take the side covers off and let the 35 MPH wind blow it clean. :)

I have to decline your very kind offer, as I live accross the "big pond ", rather long for a swim. I tried Maplin originally, no reference came up on "Air Dusters ". Thanks Bobby.

I received my order for Spray Duster in aerosol. Reading makes one's eyebrows rise "Flammable" "Use in well ventilated places" "Disconnect all electrical appliances ". At least one does not apply to me "No smoking ". Mr Bill did offer me use of an air compressor!!

I asume that an Electric Duster is known in the UK as an Electric Vacuum cleaner? Therefore my purchase Spray Duster is not suitable to clean the inners of a computer?

Their Vacuum Cleaners over here also. That is them city slickers talking that talk. Us country folks call them Vacuums. :) The spray duster you got is fine. Just don't spin the fans up I usually take a Q-Tip and wipe the blades as it will get a lot of the caked on crud off then use the Q-Tip to hold the fans from spinning.

I am pleased to hear that at least I have not bought a pig in a poke as us country fold would say. I am not up todate with the term Q-Tip, will guess at a wooden stick as in ice lollies will do the job.

I have bought a pig in a poke a couple of times when I was younger. :)

Q-Tip is a piece of cardboard rolled up tight about the size of a bar straw with a piece of cotton on both ends. Most people use them to clean their ears with. A Dr. will tell you not to put anything in your ear but your own elbow. :)

A high cost for an item used once in a long time. Called in the UK as cotton buds. I thought that a Q-Tip was used to stop fan blades rotating when using the Air Duster. You certainly learn something new and useful everyday,my problem is remembering all these tips at 84yrs.
