    Hello and greetings to All,

As of late Windows 10 shows error on trying to access default programs like Photos, Music, Video etc.:

    This app can't open
...can't be opened with using the Built-in Administrator account. Sign in with a different account and try again.

I have enabled the options Administrator and the Elevated Security options in gpedit, but this seems to have no effect.

In addition on opening the gpedit I get a strange notice:

    Administrative Templates
Namespace 'Microsoft.Policies.Sensors.WindowsLocationProvider' is already defined as the target namespace for another file in the store.

    File: "C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\Microsoft-Windows-Geolocation-WLPAdm.admx, line 5, column 110 "

Until now things were working quite without hassles.

Would appreciate some tips to fix these issues.

    Regards,

    Rista

    Windows 10 Pro

Did you try right clicking on the Windows Icon on the Taskbar then click Run and then tried typing gpedit.msc and then clicking OK?

Hi and thanks for the tips:

@Evan Omo: That was the missing link:Registry - EnableLUA was 0. Switched it to 1 and it is working again as it should!

@lj50: I almost always go in there over the Run dialogue. which I get through context click off the Windows logo or usually Windows Button + R and then gpedit.msc or also secpol.msc to get there directly. I rarely need to go there.
In any case the message still continues to show.
Perhaps some weird data mining or location setting(I have disabled Telemetry) or because the system is set to US English, but the physical location is Germany.

Regards and have a sunny Sunday. Here it is bleak and cloudy..
