Version 1511 build 10586.36 installed this AM. All well went until I tested the Edge browser. It's not my default browser but still, it should work.

Clicking on it in the taskbar or in app list on Start menu does not work. I get a flash of the Edge window come up and then it disappears. This happens every time I try to open it. How do I fix this issue?

I know there was supposed to be some 'improvements' to the browser in this version but now it just doesn't work.

Hi Alicia 3, Welcome to W10 :) Can you follow the advice in this link? "Make Microsoft Edge your default browser Applies to Windows 10 "
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-nz/windows-10/make-microsoft-edge-your-default-browser
Do you in fact have Edge showing in your Default Apps?
You may have to go to the App Store and get Edge. Please check your updates first and have you carried out a shut down and startup since the Upgrade? Neil.

I actually don't want Edge to be my default browser. I just think it would work in case I choose to use it.

I did a shut down and a restart after update.

You can undo the Default in Settings > System. I think that's why it's easier in W10. You can make IE your Default then change it using the system to your advantage. Neil.

Yes I have I.E. as my default. I was just wondering how to fix Edge. I don't want it to be my default but I would like it to work.
