You don't have to crash anything. dmp files are already there.
Simply run BlueScreenView and post its log.

There are all kind of errors.
In my opinion, it's either system files totally messed up, or some hardware problem.
Do you have any errors in Device Manager?

    ==================================================================

    Run hard drive diagnostics: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=287
Make sure, you select tool, which is appropriate for the brand of your hard drive.
Depending on the program, it'll create bootable floppy, or bootable CD.
If downloaded file is of .iso type, use ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/ to burn .iso file to a CD (select "Write image file to disc" option), and make the CD bootable.

NOTE. If your hard drive is made by Toshiba, unfortunately, you're out of luck, because Toshiba doesn't provide any diagnostic tool.

    =================================================================

    A. If you have more than one RAM module installed, try starting computer with one RAM stick at a time.

NOTE Keep in mind, the manual check listed above is always superior to the software check, listed below. DO NOT proceed with memtest, if you can go with option A

    B. If you have only one RAM stick installed...
    ...run memtest...

    1. Download - Pre-Compiled Bootable ISO (.zip)
    2. Unzip downloaded memtest86+-2.11.iso.zip file.
    3. Inside, you'll find memtest86+-2.11.iso file.
    4. Download, and install ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/
    5. Insert blank CD into your CD drive.
    6. Open ImgBurn, and click on Write image file to disc
    7. Click on Browse for a file... icon:

    8. Locate memtest86+-2.11.iso file, and click Open button.
    9. Click on ImgBurn green arrow to start burning bootable memtest86 CD:

    10. Once the CD is created, boot from it, and memtest will automatically start to run.

The running program will look something like this depending on the size and number of ram modules installed:

It's recommended to run 5-6 passes. Each pass contains very same 8 tests.

This will show the progress of the test. It can take a while. Be patient, or leave it running overnight.

The following image is the test results area:

The most important item here is the “errors” line. If you see ANY errors, even one, most likely, you have bad RAM.

No errors in DM actully.Though event viewer is another story all together. Which makes me lean towards failed ram. But as said before ive also run sfc /scannow and it said my system files were messed up.

All hard drives have been put thru all forms of stability checks, SMART checks, and manufacturer checks. All came out clean.

    keep forgetting about that...

    [/QUOTE]

ive run memtest86+, goldmemory test, windows diagnostic test (or w/e its called). But ive not tested any in a single test format...

It's not about software testing them individually, but physically remove sticks and try running computer on one sticks at a time.

Did actually sfc fix all errors?

Just my recovery disc but im PRETTY sure i can do a win repair from it. Im running another sfc scan now will post the "exact" message when its done. Will later (tomorrow most likly) remove a dimm and conduct the 4 way test. (remove a dimm test, move dimm to next socket test, replace with 2nd dimm, move to 2nd socket.) That way it will exclude sockets/dimms.

No, you can't. Borrowed Vista DVD will do.

    Vista creates sfc log.
Navigate to C:\Windows\Logs\CBS folder. You'll see CBS.log file.
Open the file and look at entries with today's date (time of running sfc). You'll see, what was fixed and what was not.

Noone i know has a vista dvd :\ i double check the recovery dvd though as im thinking i saw a repair option for it. You want me to post today's cbs log/s? Or just sift thru it? I just ordered a new set of ram even if my ram isnt current at fault it wont hurt to have a back up (though id prefer it if i didnt just waste my money X_X). I will however do a ram test when i crash next time and resume downloading to "stress" it and see if i crash.

If you run through this thread you'll see that OP has tried re-installing multiple times.

I'm pretty sure that some hardware has failed, possibly due to overclocking.

im leaning on hardware. Crashed 2 times in less then 20mins trying to dl Xubuntu. Just disconnected the extra power connecter to my 9600 and remove a dimm. Apps open at the time were Firefox, yahoo messenger, and kaspersky.

Also running with no optical drives and just 1 hard drive connected. Event viewer is throwing up errors like a pinata with candy. Errors are across the board. WMI, nvlddmkm, service cont., volmgr, DHCP client ect ect. at the very least a corrupt OS seems to be an issue now. Once the new ram arrives I will reformat and install on 2 different hard drives to rule out possible bad hard drive.

    in case your interested.

I've looked in on this thread a few times and followed some developments with interest. I would concur that memory could be suspect but with the temperatures you cited early on in the thread, you could have permanently damaged the CPU or the motherboard too. I'd prefer to call this heat related abuse rather than OC related abuse but the end result can be one in the same.

It will be interesting to see what kind of influence different memory may have but you've made no mention of what kind of memory, speed, size or whatever. As a further caution, I'm sure you realize there is a very big difference between "good" memory, "bad" memory and "great" memory - lets hope you got it right.

OK, enough from the peanut gallery - what's the message here? - totally unrelated to the above - just wanted to point out that your comment , "removed items after this point... ", should read ..... removed items before this point.

Your fffffa60,fffffa80 and fffffa85 memory addresses may hold a key but you are going to need Microsoft's help to get to the root cause of your problem.

    Good Luck
    ;)

One other thing to try... if its indeed only occurring when using your network (Internet), start by updating your network drivers. If that doesn't help, disable the on-board network connections.

Again was out of my control and even the high idles i originaly had were with-in spec of the processor except for the 3 (+/- 1) times that i stressed it to the point of thermal shutdown.

My memory is in my system specs as well as mentioned in the thread somewhere before. The original modules are Kingston 2x2gb modules. pc2-6400. The new modules are here

no i am right as those crashes were before i removed those additional parts. (1 dimm of ram and aux. power connector for pci-e g.card.)

Before and after crashes started my mobo's on-board ethernet connection was/is disabled via my mobo's bios menu. And Ive tried to find the best drivers for my adapter but if it is indeed the cause of my crashes then its to do with the failure of netgear to release capaitable drivers and not on my own ability to find them. Current drivers for my adapter are the 5.2 set located directly on the wn121t product download page.

Sorry for my mis-interpretation. I thought you were referencing additional dumps and I was just trying to point out that those you posted are in reverse chronological order, thus any ommisions would have been prior to. Obviously this is not the case. Thank you for clarifying this is hardware removal from the machine, not mini-dump removal from the post. My bad.

High end, low latency OCZ has been one of my favorites for 10+ years. I believe you have made a good choice re: memory and am assuming your spec calls for 800Mhz, not 1066MHz.

    ;)

edit: Just looked up your CPU - With that processor (q9300), it looks like 800Mhz memory is a marginal selection. Based upon your motherboard and CPU specs, I would suggest you use 1066 as a minimum.
