Every time I try to install Belkin USB driver for Hi-Speed USB 2.0 5 Port PCI Card F5U220. On shutdown or using HP Device Detection Tool I'll get a BSOD STOP 0x0000008L(0x_0x00000005,0xB62LLLL1,0xAB4_0x00000000 ousb2hub.sys-Address B62EEED1 baseat B62EC000,DATE STAMP D 42d83281 Beginning dump of physical memory. Physical memory dump complete. Is there any way to fix this problem. I'll try to find Belkin drivers when I do find the driver and try to download it they want me to download some driver detection tool for $14.95. Are there any web sites were i can just download the driver without having to download their driver detection tool.

You might need to disable the onboard USB controllers in the BIOS, then uninstall any drivers for those, before you put the Belkin card in and install drivers for that.

So, because you have already installed the Belkin card, The path I would follow is to go to Add or Remove Programs, uninstall anything related to the Belkin card. Go to Device Manager and check that it is gone or otherwise uninstall it there. Shutdown and take the card out. Go into the BIOS (startup configuration settings), disable the onboard (HP) USB controllers. Boot back into Windows [you don't mention what Windows version you have and we don't know your system specifications Adding System Specifications to your Profile], You may need to remove anything related to HP USB controllers. THEN shutdown and put the Belkin card in. Boot into Windows and install the drivers (follow the driver installation instructions).

Therefore :D, my suggestion is to remove/uninstall/disable anything related to USB and then start again. That problem sounds to me like a clash of drivers. The drivers the HP onboard USB system use clash with the Belkin drivers.

Is the USB card in warranty? Looking at Belkin's website, they only offer updated manuals, so I suspect they expect you to have the driver installation CD.

If you purchased the card yourself, go to Belkin's "Contact Us" website and explain the situation.
I doubt it is Belkin that is trying to stick you, sounds like a "we'll fix your drivers, charge you money, possibly install spyware, tell you all the rest of your drivers are wrong" website. If you own the card, ask Belkin (even if it is out of warranty).

Tried the BIOS did not work. Win XP Pro. I found the drivers for the card on belkin site a few days ago. Tried to download the driver but Belkin sent me to Driver Pro. Went back on the site and guess what now I can't find the page the driver was listed on.

Replaced the Belkin Card with an Iogear Card now everything is working fine. Thanks to all who assisted.
