Browser Won't Load

Hello all, and i'd like to thank you all for any help you are able to give.

So it started a few days ago, as i got a new at&t internet connection. At first i was only unable to access Secure Login Websites, but now, after playing around trying to fix it, i am unable to access any type of website with any of 3 browsers being: Safari, Mozilla Firefox, and IE. Now note i have windows vista. I called at&t and they said it was a networking problem, which it must be because i am still able to log on to aol instant messenger. If anyone has any idea how i could fix this, it would be greatly appreciated.
