Resolved Browser Blockage

    Friends,
    At some point in the last week, something happened to block my browsers from connecting to the internet. Other applications such as a weather gadget, Spybot S&D, etc. can connect but neither IE, Chrome or Malware Bytes can.

    A Java update carped about settings & refused to procede. I have uninstalled Java, turned the firewall off & on, run virus/malware scans, etc. but no joy.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Sure sounds like Malware/Spyware to me. Post you findings in the Malware section and let Broni take a look and advise you what to do/try.
