It does sound a little fishy but, I know there companies out there that will sell there laptops/ PCs after a few years that goes by just to have the newer version laptops/computers . I seen this company sold around 200 PCs at a very cheap price. My friend bought all of them for $50 per unit , with no OS but the license stickers were on the back of them . He end up selling them between $150 to $200 per unit . And they were Dell computers so what he end up doing was getting an OEM disk from Dell and installing that version onto those computers . He didn't have any problems afterwards . Now it sounds to me maybe this person whom you bought this laptop from is trying to do the same thing but instead of using the original OS he trying to use an upgrade version instead ( OEM W7 U ) . I mean you did say he or she has a positive selling record , SO ??? Hmmmm ... Then again I could be wrong and he or she is a scumbag trying to scam . I would just let E-bay handle it
