I have tried numerous times to back up my laptop to the Toshiba 1TB external hard drive I bought and have not been able to get past this file 'C:\Programfiles\msn\msncorefiles\install\msn9components\digopt.msi'. This file was also found in 'C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386'
I have already tried typing this in RUN 'msiexec/x{0AAA9C97-7404-47CE-B089-0B147EF3553C}' per another place I found by googling it.
    Any Help?

I did some research to look for a solution for you but before I can do much more could you fill in your computer specifications and tell us the model number for your external hard drive.

Could you also confirm that you are using the built in windows utility for back up or if not, what software you are using.

Have you completed a full virus and malware scan before trying to back up (which is highly advisable) you don't want to copy anything nasty and it may interfere with the back up process.

This link is for the instructions to help enter you system spec.
