I have had FileHippo Application Manager loaded ever since it came out but lately, I am experiencing a problem. When I try to download and update any software it has listed, I get an error message saying that it can't because I have no internet connection. Of course this isn't true and everything else works even when I do a manual update. My settings are all correct in the file. FileHippo doesn't seem to have a support page so hopefully someone here can tell me what is wrong.

I say, don't use it. You don't need FileHippo or any other driver or application manager. Windows already knows how to keep Windows (and other Microsoft apps) current. Your security programs already know how to keep themselves current. And your other programs you can always check them manually.

3rd party managers introduce "man in the middle" routines. The problem with these is they may or may not be current, or accurate.
