Resolved Adobe flash player 9 active x

    I have this flash player installed on my windows 98 pc...
    Some websites require a flash player...I get a message
    that I have to either upgrade or get a flash player.
    So, my question to all of you is:
    what flash player is compatable with windows 98
    for me to download and is shock player to download any help in
    this situation?

    No doubt you have already found more than a few websites that also do not support IE 6. There is a possible solution for you called KernalEX, an Open Source compatibility layer with an aim to allow running Windows 2000/XP-only applications on Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft Windows Millennium operating systems.

    You can get KernalEX at the above link.
    You will need to use Firefox as a browser for the newer flashplayer to work with this, the newer versions of Flash will not work with IE6 even with KernalEx installed.

    I must say that I have not used KernalEx myself, yet.

    Mark, I'm on Firefox 3.0 and also have KernelEX installed on my pc.
    Will try later to download Adobe Flash Player later today.
    I will let you know what progress I have made, hopefully later today.

    Adobe Flash Player was successfully installed using KernelEX in my
    Firefox Browser.
