acer aspire one wont boot or launch start up repair

    Hello,
    I own an acer aspire one d250 netbook. When I power up it gives me a message saying windows failed to start and a recent hardware or software might be the causem when I launch the recommended start up repair, it begins loading files and the screen suddenly turns blank. This lasts for about 10minutes before a blue blank windows page comes up and that's where the whole thing gets stuck. Plssssss I would really appreciate all help as I know absolutely nothing about computersm thank you

    Hi ohtee, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

    If you boot up the computer and press F8 on startup to bring up the advanced boot options menu, and you select the Last Known Good Configuration Option does the computer start Windows successfully?

    If not then instead of choosing Last Known Good Configuration, see if Safe Mode works.

    Do you have a Windows 7 DVD or a System Recovery Disk that you can use to boot the laptop from?

    Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.
