My 2nd computer (spouse's) is a couple of rooms away from my router. The router is connected to a CAT5 distribution box which feeds this Lenovo Computer as well as other devices (Smart TV's). When I do a speed check on my main computer which is next to the router, it show upwards to 200mbps/10mbps but when I check the Lenovo it will show less than 100mbps. When turned on it idicates 1min 30 sec boot time but pages are slow to load. Running Win10.

What happens if you move her computer to where yours is and use your connection?

CAT 5 The cable standard provides performance of up to 100 MHz. Change the cable to CAT5e or CAT6

Just some figures I ran today.
My Home Built W10 Pro 64bit Desktop takes about 30 to 35 seconds from Start to Desktop.
This comp is about 11 metres (CAT cable) from my Fritzbox 7530 Modem/WiFi Router.
Ookla Speed test shows Ping 3ms D/L 86.1 Mbps and U/L 93.5 Mbps!!
This is cable connect from Router.
My HP Notebook (2½ years old). Shows test in the same area but WiFi only Ping10ms, D/L 19.30 Mbps and U/L 1.67 Mbps!

Put the Notebook within a metre of the Router (WiFi) Ping 3ms D/L 254.79 Mbps and U/L 107.20 Mbps.

This comp which is connected by ethernet cable to the Router (1½ metre) gives me Ping 4ms D/L 305.0 Mbps and U/L 107.2 Mbps.

My ISP provides 300/100 Mbps connection. As CaneMan suggested, newer cables will improve the performance and I have found that
extenders do help but a mesh system may be the real good answer.
The time from Startup seems long as that was the 1st big improvement W10 gave me.
You may need to clean up the Lenovo or get a Fresh OS on board.

It will depend on how many devices are competing for their share of the signal and how close they are.
P.S. I'm on Fibre Optic to house and cable to Router. My cable is about 10 years old though.

    LOL - a few suggestions - I'll add mine.
Along with CaneMan's check that your cable is at least Cat 5e ALSO check that your Cat 5 distribution box (switch) is 10/100/1000 mbps. Many older switches are just 10/100
