Resolved 0x10e0 error

    error keeps popping up after installtion of VMWare workstation...i already uninstalled but there was no cange to the system still very annoying popup.

    i searched through the forums and already found the solution but i cant pay for another registry cleaner again...already purchased the error repair and didnt help is there any other way i can get this fixed without having to spend so much $$$

    The language used in your post is totally unacceptable however cleverly you think you disguised it - this is a Microsoft Community Web Site and we will not tolerate it.

    If you are set on cleaning the Registry - only recommended in extreme cases - I suggest the use of the free trial of jv16 Power Tools - and back up any changes when prompted.

    Moved to the Windows XP forum for the time being with edit (no DDS logs permitted in that forum).

    it says

    Error (login): 0x10e0 The operator or administrator has refused the request

    btw i am not using any sort of remote desktop application...

    and already tried the JV16 but that didnt help...

    any ideas?

    its a super annoying popup!!@ cant work with anything as the popup keeps blocking the view!

    Several threads on various forums - you could have Googled the message - give an indication that the popup is malware related ......

    Download, update and run (in Safe Mode) Malwarebytes

    If that fails to resolve the problem head over to the Malware & Virus Removal forum and ....

    Please read this as indicated at the head of the forum and post the logs requested in a new thread.

    did the scan in both normal and safe mode with malwarebyte still getting the message.

    i guess i have no choice but to formate my HDD,

    for some reason the popup has stopped....

    i am sure it not malwarebyte as even after the 2 scans the popup kept coming up...

    anyway thanks for the help
