Windows Explorer->Tools->Folder Options->View tab->there are three options to hide files that you'd want to disable.
I'd suggest looking at getting a 1.5 gig type machines with XP for about 50 bucks;)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can't actually see, feel or taste any difference in the speed can you?
It still could "only" mean that the machine is dual capeable....I wouldn't worry about the score.
You might have lost the dual channel function by mixing ram....But, depending on what apps you run and such, 3 gigs is generally better then 2...
You probably mean 5400....So, upgrading to a 7200 rpm drive would be a very nice increase.
It would depends on the specs of the IDE drive....If its a couple year old 7200 rpm drive it would pretty much run as well as a SATA drive....

You hightlight the file and hit the delete key or you right click and select delete.
One guess is that the drive is in sleep mode and not fully awake....Might consider saving the file to local hard drive and copy to the thumb drive...
I would guess that Close Personal Folders will make it inactive some how. Very doubtfull it'll copy mail to the other folder...The goal os to stop...

Welcome to WindowsBBS:) Operating system is not compatable means you'll have to upgrade to XP Pro.
Did you reinstall the chipset drivers for the mobo? Do you have any errors in device manager?
