    Ooops. My Bad. Control Panel->SERVICES icon. Look up the same service and after double clicking it you'll see the start button.

    How hot is too hot for CPU/GPU/etc...???

    Helps to mention which cpu;) If it's the one in your signature - that's HOT...Might want to re-do the thermal paste.

    drive letters all messed up

    Windows won't allow you to change the system volume drive letter due to the millions of entries in the registry. Odds are the system will run fine...
