    MS did stop supporting XP;) Just like finding drivers from win98 is difficult - someday XP will be the same way.

    I'm pretty certain you can't export groups. I googled "OE export groups" and saw many people in the same boat you're in.

    Did you disable "auto hide" icons in the taskbar properties? Did you look in Control Panel->SOUND and make sure the box to display the control...

    If you're using a USB keyboard - try a PS2 board. Then if you get into the BIOS look for the option to Enable legacy USB devices.
