This is why I went back to FF 3.0.13 (from FF 3.5.1).
Sadly this doesn't work w/ FF 3.0.13 It does reduce memory usage initially, but then it creeps right back up to where it started. Dang it!
It's now almost 2 wks later. Have any of these issues been resolved by Mozilla?
The CD is defective - go figure! I'll get a replacement and go from there. Assuming this is the problem, I'll make this "resolved ". Thx Steve. :)

I tried running sfc /scannow w/ the sliptream disc in the machine and it asked for the XP disc instead, which put me back on square one - nothing...
While we're here... Is the boot disc that Pete had me create solely for emergencies? I'm not sure why he suggested it be made.
