Tried that - no go. When I run the driver installer it say, "Supported product not found on Computer ". This is nuts.
Found it. After it tried to install and couldn't find anything (software) it replaced the yellows again. Card still doesn't show.
Deleted them, but where do I find Check For Hardware Changes? Restarted Device Mgr, and other then the yellow's I didn't see any changes.

Don't have the CD. Bought the card used and it didn't come w/ one. Under Other Devices in Device Mgr I have yellow ! and ? for Multimedia Audio...
Did that one Christer, and when I attempted the install it said the card wasn't present. Since it works on my other drive that info was incorrect.
Device Mgr doesn't show any sound card or any sound issues. There is onboard sound though. Can you walk me through deselecting onboard sound?
Also, when I'm hooked up to the clone (w/ old XP and drivers) sound works fine. Go figure!
