Oh Steve, Sometimes you just crack me up! That's SO perfect.
Sweet!
Why does MS keep having to validate me prior to download. Isn't once enough?
Ooops, I forgot about the 2nd and 3rd downloads. I'll be back.
Thx Pete. I'll learn to be patient and live w/ it. :)
Pete, so what you're saying is I'd be wise to just live w/ it(?). You're always right, though this time it's not what I was wanting to hear.
Thx Mark. Hopefully someone will post a solution. I agree w/ you, lowering the security level is probably not a good option.
Arie, I just looked at the audacity link you posted, and w/out the directions Charles listed, I'd have never found the info. When I look at a pg...
I appreciate your understanding Tony. As I said, I really didn't overlook it. The recording device was not there. Then it shows up, I don't get...
Arie, Maybe it's not personal. It appeared to be. Actually I'll send a PM, that's more appropriate.
Found it w/ a search, but how do I load programs into it?
Steve I just tried installing XP mode (from the download) and it said it's already installed, yet it's not on the start menu.
So I really don't need Virtual PC, correct?
Thx Christer. I'd forget my pocket if I wasn't wearing my pants! If I write it down I'd lose the paper - no joke. I just emailed it to myself....
It pops up ea time you run a program, and is a waste of time. I mean, would I fire a program I DIDN'T want to run?
So where is Compatability Mode?
Switched from FF to IE and it got into an endless loop. It's now downloading in FF. I'll see it in about an hr. zzzzz
That's apparently some huge download. It says it'll take almost an hr.
Oh, I didn't realise it had to be downloaded. Though it was part of Win 7. Where do I find Compatibility Mode? It's not on my Start menu.
RS, Pg three of the link you posted says XP Mode is on the start menu. It's not on mine. Now what?
