In Word - Click on HELP->Detect and Repair (you might need to have your Office cd near by)
It should be in Tools->Options->Preferences..
Did you install the chipset drivers from Dell's cd or web site? The chipset drivers tie the mobo to the OS.
In Add/Remove it is probably listed as MS OFFICE.... Do you get the error after a reboot? Do you get the error with all word docs or just some?
