Was the task actually run from the schedular? And you might want to look in the Windows Help file for the other question.
The XP install cd will let you zap the partition and recreate it...and it will then format the drive.
Welcome to WindowsBBS;) Can you get the drive out of its case and hook it up internally inside a pc? I can easily cost well over $500.00 USD...
Did you empty the recycle bin?

Did you move the pc to another location that uses a different ISP?
You could make the user an admin - fix the deal - change the user back.
Did you try to solve the original issue to avoid having to clear the history? Does right clicking on the IE icon and select Run as Admin help?

Control Panel->ADMIN Tools->Services->you can disable Fast Switching there for the time being.
