    Normally, when finished cloning, you unplug one of the drives to avoid issues of havigng the same drive letter.

    Does rebooting the machine clear up the loss of internet? If so - look in device manager->eithernet adaptor and disable the power saver option.

    Sounds like it is on her end. In Account settings is a "reply address" field. It is normal set to blank/empty.
