In IE -> Tools->Options->Settings button will show you the location...There is also a Delete button in the Options.
Are these large spreadsheets? How much ram does the machine have?
Do you see a TOOLS option like IE8 has...there you might me able to add the toolbar like IE8 does.

You'll have to move the mail to the inbox at gmail. And or try to mark it as Not spam..
So do you have the GMAIL account set up in TB? If so, it shouldn't be getting filtered when it gets to TB... Or are you forwarding it from Gmail...
