    Are you familar with the term DRIVERS;) As in the drive is full of the wrong ones... A repair install of Windows should maybe possibly fix it.

    The hard drive is spilt into Two partitions. The "user" determins where they store stuff. Sure sounds like she needs to move files for C to D;)
