When you export you should be able to specify the folders you want. You can even use the filter button and export based on subject line etc..

I'd guess the mail is being filtered as spam by your ISP. If you can check your mail on-line via the ISP's web site - look in the junk mail...
I would uninstall/resinstall the printer instead of restoring the reg.
