Welcome to WindowsBBS :) Yes, this catches a lot of folk out - copy CBS.log to the Desktop and open in Notepad.
You will normally see several svhost.exe entries in Task Manager - the value shown in your screen grab is not excessive - my Win 7 x64 Pro box...

No Sandie, it is not. Orb > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt - right click on Command Prompt > Run as Administrator. See Option 2...
