I have a black keyboard, and when the sun shines in the window, it reveals all. :) I'll try the damp cloth/and a mild liquid soap or windex combo.
I use compressed air to get the dirt under the keys. The keys themselves are not so easy to clean. I have read the recommendations with Q-tip....
