I have a dell latitude C600 it was working fine but lately when i boot it up i get a error message saying hard drive not found the hard drive...
i have a compaq nx6310 with a 120 gb sata hard driuve running windows vista, i want to install windows xp pro.sp2, can this be done using my sata...

re: windows xp instal i used a copy of windows xp. iwas i suppose to delete the prrevious os , i typedelete but got message telling not to
i reinstalled windows xp in emachines t1742 now its very very slow when it does respond or i get error message saying that its not responding...
My harddrive is not detected during boot up the secondary master and slave are detected, ive checked and changed cables , made sure power is ok...
