yes sir ive done that,i have reformatted c drive and the beeps continue so c drive is ok i think,and d drive is ok i ran chkdsk on both

it now makes 3 tones break by 3 more beeps then 2 beeps at tyhe start up
yea 3 short then 2 short,i redid C drive now shows C &D drives???
ok i'll be bak tommorow morning- i'll throw in my disc to reformat c drive
yes f2 f12 f12 no go hd? maybe reformat c drive to get it to work?

no yellow,with the 3 short tones,it will just recycle over and over,and not boot up
d is CD i thimk,combination of 3 short beeps i am not real sure of whats what on D or C drives
