    Christer, one more question. If I copy to a CD the Windows/system files, and then copy them to the new installation, would the programs work?...

    If I were to reinstall Windows XP, would my installed programs work? Would the reinstallation remove the required .dll's and other data required...

    Thanks, Pete. I got into disk management and the disk is shown there, however, when I right click I don't have an option to partition or anything...
