Hi Milt Can you give us some system specs please? What O/S? How much Ram, etc?
Does your modem have Ethernet ports? *edit* And does your old computer have a NIC?

I'd still opt. for #3 - I doubt the HDD is only a 2 MB cache one... they can be difficult to find these days. And even if it is I'd still pick #3....

I'd definitely choose the last one, mainly because of the chipset (true 800 MHz & dual-channel ram). But make sure it has 2 x 256 MB paired ram...
