It needs admin rights because it is running compatibility mode. As I said way back when, it does not need admin rights when running on an XP...

No. It always prompts with the dialog box to allow changes. I also checked the registry and the string does NOT have the RUNASADMIN option set.
The game runs fine. I am only concerned with the requirement to run it as admin.
As I said this is most likely a compatibility mode issue not the game per se.
