The last couple of days, when I start my machine, this garbage comes up. I understand it has to do with Win 10. Anybody know how I can disable it?

    Thanks

Yes, as suggested try the first 2 entries and if it still pops up, Disable the other entries. Neil.

Looking at the pane, it said, numbers 1 and 3 were last run today. (12-10) So I disabled them. I'll reboot, and I'll give you a full report tomorrow.

    thanks and regards

Hi elcajongunsfan. See this post for instructions on removing the Windows 10 app nonsense from your Windows 7 system.

Alternatively use GWX Control Panel as noted in Windows Secrets.

Running it on my 7 box, which I do not want to upgrade, without issue.

Anyway, the task sked fix solved my issue. I'll look at the GWX control panel later, but I'm happy with the fix as suggested by Neil.. thanks
