Windows 7 Pro shuts down only when accessing Internet

We have one computer that can run for days with QuickBooks and other programs, but the minute we try to access the Internet, it shuts down.

 

1) Is this computer behind a company firewall?

2) Which program are you using to try and access the Internet?

 

no firewall, simple network. Explorer or Firefox

 

I think it could be malware but I really dont want to reinstall windows again
