Maybe wait until all issues have been 'resolved' it would be helpful if you could restart your system and check whether you need to do it again, it you do..., I'm sure we can think of more ideas!!

It would be helpful if you could open start menu and navigate to the 'startup' folder, then right-click it and select 'open' make a list or screenshot the files in there, file extensions (.exe etc) would be helpful too, please post them in your next reply...

    You're more than welcome.

For now maybe, but, we're going to continue to try and help you get rid of the problem.

As masterroming mentioned above, is there anything listed in your Startup folder?

I'm still getting the "window" after restarting but typing in explorer.exe still works. I right clicked on the "start up" folder and there is nothing in there. Now if I click on in the Programs menu then it has my McAffee Security Scan plus.

Its best if you post a new thread in the Malware and Virus Removal Forum as your computer could still have more malware infections that are present on the system.

I agree with Evan. Start by reading this post and then posting the requested log(s) in our Malware and Virus Removal forum.

If you are still having the same issue after being given a clean bill of health from one of our malware experts, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you/them solve the problem.
