Logging Internet Connection Software?

I have been having an issue with my internet connection for the last 6 months but everytime I call ATT, they tell me everything is fine on the line. I finally got a tech to come out and check the outside line. He said no problems. He came in the house and tested the modem/router. No problem. He even swapped the router out with a new one and put a new filter in the phone jack. Im still having the same problem. Is there a FREE software out there that will log the connectivity so that I have PROOF and I can show them?? I'm not crazy. Unfortunately they are the ONLY ISP in my area so I am stuck with them. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

 

What is the "issue "?

 

The issue is connectivity. It goes down (freezes what Im doing on a web page) and then comes back and then later does the same thing. The lights on the router/modem dont turn red like when the connection goes totally down. Its like it loses the connection but not completely. I work at home thru a VPN connection and sometimes it disconnects me from that.
