    Hello Windows BBS users.

I have been Googling the exception report below and haven't found any clues so thought I would post here before calling in an expert. (I have emailed the customer support for the software but did not receive a reply).

Maybe someone here could point me in the right direction?

Hi Arie....I tried using Speccy to list all my system details however everything was listed as "Unknown system error: 0x80041001 ".

I tried everything from Microsoft Hotfixes to WMI diagnosis & repairs.

    ".1541 09:52:15 (1) !! ERROR: WMI CONNECTION errors occured for the following namespaces: .................................................. 5 ERROR(S)!
    .1542 09:52:15 (0) ** - Root, 0x80041001 - (WBEM_E_FAILED) Call failed.
    .1543 09:52:15 (0) ** - Root, 0x80041001 - (WBEM_E_FAILED) Call failed.
    .1544 09:52:15 (0) ** - Root/Default, 0x80041001 - (WBEM_E_FAILED) Call failed.
    .1545 09:52:15 (0) ** - Root/CIMv2, 0x80041001 - (WBEM_E_FAILED) Call failed.
    .1546 09:52:15 (0) ** - Root/WMI, 0x80041001 - (WBEM_E_FAILED) Call failed. "

In the end I ran the Dell 32-bit Diagnostics Utility which came back without any errors. I rebooted the machine & both Speccy & the original issue are now both fixed!

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Regards,

    Gavin

Agree with your 101... however this problem has existed for nearly 2 years -so the number of reboots and windows updates would be in the 100's by now.

Well, you said the issue has 'fixed' itself right?

OK, so for now please mark your thread as 'Resolved'.

If you run into this again later, just open a new thread.
