Depends on where you are tryinig to delete cookies from....

I would recommend using Temp File Cleaner by Oldtimer

In IE Tools > Options > "browsing History" Delete -- select what you want to delete.

In Chrome CTRL+Shift+Delete -- select what you want to delete/

You may have tried to open the symbolic link to the cookies directory and not the actual cookies directory.

    Cookies are located at:

    users/your username/appdata/roaming/microsoft/windows/cookies

Tools > Internet Options - General Tab > Browsing History > Settings > View Files.

A few cookies will be in the list - the rest where TonyT noted

I knew that. Just trying to get the other poster to give the whole path and not just half if it. They are new and maybe don't understand how to finish a post. :D

No point in responding, OP has never returned, not even after he received a notice to do so.
