Hello all this is a first time post.

I started to have some BSOD crashes recently with my PC. There were no hardware changes and no driver changes. The system is about a year and a half old. SO far the crashes seem to only happen when either a video or game is launched.

I dug through my dmp file and got the following details

    WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)
A fatal hardware error has occurred. Parameter 1 identifies the type of error
source that reported the error. Parameter 2 holds the address of the
WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure that describes the error conditon.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000004, PCI Express Error
    Arg2: fffffa80086e58d8, Address of the WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure.
    Arg3: 0000000000000000
    Arg4: 0000000000000000

I am not sure if this is a issue with the card, the slot, the drivers. I know enough to be a danger to my system.

Hi Kadwen, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

It looks like the BSOD could be caused by your video driver. I would start by updating all of your system drivers including your video driver.

Have you checked your system for any dust that could be causing your system to overheat? Is your video card integrated or a dedicated video card?

Also please enter your System Details. It helps us in answering your questions.

Note: A common error is to forget to show your System Details in your profile:

Make sure to do the above when entering your System Details, thanks.

Yeah sorry forgot to click the show specs.

Yeah i went and updated my video drivers after the first BSOD i got the other day. It seemed to be ok after that for like 2 days then it crashed on me again in a second application.

I also popped the case ope and it did not look all that dusty to me. Gave it a once over with some air just for the hell of it.

Also when the BSOD poped up there was also some weird audio screeches as well.
