Resolved [Excel import fails with: Run time error '62' Input past end of file]

When I try to import these files into a Excel program that were downloaded from the Internet I get an error '62' message
which reads " Run time error '62' Input past end of file ".
Can anyone explain in simple non tech terms what I need to do to fix this error,
preferably in step by step instructions please?.

Yes I checked out the link you inserted but I did not understand it?, too hi tech for me.
I tried to fill in as much as I could in My System part of my profile.
Is there anywhere on the PC to get information on the video and sound card and the
hard drive specification?, anyway I hope there is enough information in My System to
help you in rectifying my problem?.
