    hello,
I'm getting the message Navigation to the website was canceled and have searched the web for answer to no avail. Once I get the message IE usually will connect me with the page. So I am connecting and while the error message causes only a slight delay sometimes it is longer and is bothersome.
I could certainly use Firefox or Chrome but am curious what might be causing the issue. I'm using IE9 and the O/S is Windows 7 Ultimate on an AMD Phenom II 830 with 8GB of memory.
I imagine the issue is with the settings. I just don't know which ones to change.
Thank you in advance to all who voluteer here!:):)

Is this happening with all web sites or just certain ones? Is it happening every time or intermittantly? When did the problem start?

Not sure when it started because I chose to ignore it for a while but probably a few months. It doesn't happen if I am going directly to a particular site but when I'm doing a search thru the google toolbar from within the IE9 browser window. good question. didn't occur to me. thanks.

Also, I reset IE9 settings and reset advanced settings and results are the same.

If you feel you really need the Google Toolbar, then uninstall it and re-install from Google and see if that fixes the problem.

interesting. I uninstalled and reinstalled which was a newer version and so far have not seen the issue. thank you so much! I was thining the problem was purely a IE issue. When I wrote that it occured in each search I was suspicious. Can't get anything by me! Thanks again!

Really glad it appears to be "fixed ".

You can mark this thread resolved when you are ready.
