[Inactive] Can't get rid of virus

I first started noticing problems when I would go to google and look something up. When I would try to click on a link to a website it would take me to a different website. Then my computer started doing memory dumps especially when I would try to do a virus scan. I decided to run my computer in Safe Mode with Networking and see if I could get rid of the virus, but when I finished a scan it would require that I restart and when i did the computer would do a ton of memory dumps and the problems would quickly return. I have several virus removal programs in my Downloads file and I am now going through the list installing one, scanning, uninstalling and installing another. Last time I used maybe 5-6 programs and I was finally able to get into Windows update and google stopped taking me to the wrong website but like I said the moment I restart the computer it does a bunch of memory dumps and it is back. This is my sisters school laptop and I'm trying to not have to do a full restore and lose all of her programs and work (oh and I tried restoring it to an earlier point, it did not work). If anyone can help me figure out how to get rid of this virus for good that would be great.
