I have alot of problems that i think is related.

They all started about some days ago i think when i got flickering screens when using Firefox. If i did a reboot it worked for about two days. But when i found out that it was Firefox (I was using FF 4 Beta before) the final version of FF 4 was released and i installed it and all seems fine.

But now I got a bunch of other problems. Two days ago Firefox started crashing referring to some winsock dll i think. I thought i needed to reinstall Firefox again but when i tried IE8 all downloads was horribly slow. I tried Chrome and it crashed on all pages displaying the blue "Whops, an error occured" screen.

At that time i also got a lot of PerfDisk errors with "Unable to read performance data for the Disk performance counters." and Resource Monitor is all blank too.

I then googled some and found that i could reset tcp/ip and winsock so i did and rebooted and all browsers seemed fine two days until now when i have the same problem.

All browsers acting crazy and resource monitor is not working.

I can add that i also have these errors in eventvwr:

volsnap, "The shadow copy of volume C: could not be created due to a failure in creating the necessary on disk structures. "
volsnap, "The shadow copies of volume C: were aborted because of a failed free space computation. "
srv, "The server was unable to allocate from the system nonpaged pool because the pool was empty. "

    What can i do? :(

Try running chkdsk /f on C: for starters.

First, the flickering was back again and the eventvwr was flooded with PerfDisk errors with "Unable to read performance data for the Disk performance counters. ".

I did run the chkdsk /f at a reboot, no errors.
I did also uninstall all NVIDIA graphics related drivers and let Windows install it's preferred one to see if that helps.

So now i have to wait a few days to see if the errors are still there.

I didn't safe the errors from Firefox last time that's why.

The computer was running fine for three days but then over night it was flooded with PerfDisk errors with "Unable to read performance data for the Disk performance counters." again, one every second making it almost unresponsive. So I did a reboot and after that i got the Firefox crashes back again:

Problem solved by uninstalling Comodo Internet Security.
