Resolved IE8; Internet/Protected Mode Off

    The above "warning" is posted at the bottom of my IE8 (both 32 and 64 bit versions) screen. It appeared there at the time of the Win 7 install (ie, it was a default value). In "Internet Security Properties ", "Enable Protected Mode" is checked. The Help pages suggest doing a reset of IE's settings, but that didn't work because OFF is apparently default. Any ideas how I might get Protected Mode to ON? Thnx.

    Pete...that's it! I have UAC disabled, so that turns protected mode off (makes sense, I guess). Thanks.
