Try the driver that came with the card. MSI may have made some changes due to which you may be getting BSOD.

Did you download the driver from NVIDIA or MSI?

You should get the MSI driver. You can use their Live Update Online.

    MSI lists: Driver Version:197.03

The bsod appears to occur when the system is under load. However it is not temp as I have the temp displayed so I can monitor it.

As for the other suggestions, I have tried most of the hits coming up on google and tried all the normal stuff like virus checks, and the rest.

If you have recorded your System Details you have missed out the step to make them visible on the Board .....

You have indicated Win XP 32 bit & Win 7 64 bit as your OS. Are you getting the problem in both of them ?

How are you displaying the temp. ?

It won't hurt if you clean the CPU cooler.

Displaying temp with software. Computer pretty new so doesn't need cleaning.

Not getting BSOD's with W7 but programs stop functioning.

Microsoft Flight Simulator (FSX) in particular. Seems like when the GPU is under heavy load.

Check if the fan on the card is working properly or not & the heatsink is connected securely.

It could also happen if the card itself is defective. Swap the card if you can & then test it.

Thanks, I have taken the card to the supplier and they have swopped it out. I also have installed a GT8800 and this does not give the same errors. Obviously I had to change the drivers....
