[Inactive] Random Audio Ads: "CONRATULATIONS... "

For the last three days, something has gotten into my IBM T60 laptop. It is the audio of one of those annoying pop-up ads:

"CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE WON... "

There is no video, I don't even have to have my browser (mozilla) open. I do run wireless, and I often see the wireless icon active at random times when I'm not doing anything.

Malwarebytes
I've run these, and none of them can find anything.

This is unlike anything I've ever seen before, and I have always been pretty good at cleaning vurus/trojan problems from people's computers. Anyone with a thought will be greatly appreciated.

After none of the regular scanners worked, a netserch found an online scanner called:
esetsmart
which dd the trick.
